Orange Grove Animal Hospital has been dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality veterinary care for pets and their families in Tucson since 1999. Our mission is to support a happy, healthy life for every patient through comprehensive medical care and client education.
We provide routine and advanced veterinary services for dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, and many exotic species. From small reptile hatchlings to large tortoises—and everything in between—we offer care that includes wellness exams, spay and neuter procedures, dental care, advanced imaging, and diagnostic laboratory services.
Meet the Owners: Drs. Walter and Holly Merker
In 2022, Drs. Walter and Holly Merker became the owners of Orange Grove Animal Hospital, continuing a long-standing tradition of veterinary care in the Tucson community. Both are graduates of the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine and have been serving the Tucson area since 2012.

Dr. Holly Merker focuses on dogs and cats, while Dr. Walter Merker provides specialized care for exotic pets, including reptiles, birds, and small mammals.
